Rachael's Secret Tea Room - Belper

If you're planning to enjoy afternoon tea during the lockdown, I highly recommend ordering from the Secret Tea Room in Brighouse. We had ours delivered, and I must say it was truly amazing and delicious. It was well worth every penny, and we would definitely do it again in a heartbeat!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Secret Tea Rooms for providing a delightful afternoon tea in a box for takeaway during the COVID-19 lockdown. It brought a much-needed sense of joy and comfort during such difficult times. The soups, sandwiches, scones, cakes, and cookies were simply exquisite! The chocolate-dipped strawberries were a lovely addition. We can't wait to come back and hopefully enjoy an afternoon in the tea rooms once the lockdown is lifted.

We discovered the entrance to this hidden gem through a tunnel alleyway and were pleasantly surprised to find such a charming tearoom. It's more spacious inside than it appears from the outside, with multiple seating levels. Dogs are allowed on the lowest level, and our furry friend was warmly welcomed and enjoyed the visit. The menu offers a nice variety, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there are interesting books lining the walls (as seen in the pictures).

I had a delightful lunch with my sister. The value for money is fantastic, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. It's definitely a place worth checking out. Don’t let the virus get you down. Will I return? Definitely!
