Decided to give him an attempt... very disappointed. We paid $6.00 for about 10 slices of spicy fried pimples that were not spicy at all. The case of bone ribs were hard, although they had a decent taste. The vegetables in the season have been skillful... Yes CANNED asparagus. My husband's steak was fat, but also had a good taste. The beans had no taste at all. The best was the salad, but how could you go wrong with it? Won't be back, there are so many better places to eat.
If you have never been, take your time to go at least ounces. If you are a steak and loaded potatoes. Steaks are so good and always tender. The staff is friendly and nice. You did some remolding, but still nice. When you visited it during the oxen period, it was open. Great food!!!!
4/2018- Yummy!!! Really friendly service and delicious food. I had the Brody Sirloin lunch. It was by far one of the best lunches for the price I've ever had. Rolls were soft, macaroni and cheese was great! A return visit. Baked pickles were also a delicious appetizer. You have to try!
What a great dining experience! Our waiter, Dean, along with 2 of the owners, made us feel very welcome. My wife and I ordered and split the dinner chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries and a side salad. The steak was thick and delicious, and it cut with a fork (nothing like those thin and grisly types you typically find). The fries were yummy with just the right crispness. Salad was fresh with green lettuce, boiled eggs and tomatoes and excellent honey mustard dressing. After we finished cleaning our plates, we let them talk us into trying their life changing chocolate lava cake which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and, wow, they were absolutely correct! We left full and pleasantly surprised by how great evening was. We left feeling like family and plan to return soon.
