Delicious, hot food. Good size shares for a decent price. Clean and cozy environment. Friendly employees feel like home. Rolls are so soft and delicate. Served with regular butter and cinnamon butter that melts in the mouth. Got the chicken onion basket and single meat plate with brisket, roasted Okra and frits. Barbecue sauce is sweet and some spice, served hot.
For Belton, it was delicious. The problem is that I am pampered with the selection of foods and what I think is good is area-specific. I'm gonna say... The staff was amazing, everyone was super nice and smiling, what food tastes better imo. The white wings were 't wings at all, but more a huge chicken nugget (from a real chest) with butter cheese I'm the center, packed in bacon. The roasted okra is probably my favorite thing on the menu so far, with the cheese curds coming in a near second. I was a little disappointed about the macaroni and the ribs, but that is where I think it is regional. Who am I, with a person who LOVES the Makkaroni? If someone had that and some other types of macaroni, then the limited exposure would mean it's good... To them. I feel like after I probably 250 different types of macaroni in my life, this is low on the list. Not bad, just not for me. Albeit, a court and an opinion does not make a bad restaurant. It is also a bbq place and while the sides are important, the meat is what counts. I forgot to grab the sauce for the ribs!!! You don't need a sauce for Texas BBQ to be great, but I like to try because it can improve the meal and bring new flavors. The restaurant was clean, service was fast and delightful, seating were plentiful. I would probably give it some of the best BBQ around there rating, but with limited exposure and plans to return. @ianofaustin approved, now
I enjoyed the Welsfilets and Fritten. The taste was light, not fishy or greasy. My daughter had the children's sausage plate. She liked potatoes and green beans, but was not too sharp on the sausage. I tried a few slices. It was also not very tasteful with the sauce. Maybe it should be mild for the kids. There were also her gas-so-cables over it!
Been 2 times now and both times have been really good. Friendly staff. We had the delicious chicken fingers and steak fingers and most recently cheeseburgers. All really prepared well. Nice clean roomy dining room. Only thing I would say on burgers is to serve green lettuce. Not white iceberg. Also my Chicken finger salad was 75% white lettuce. What a waste. Come on Clem. Do better. Will be back.
