Dunns River Caribbean Cafe - Beltsville

I had a great experience at the restaurant today. The curry chicken was delicious and the Pattie was cooked perfectly with a nice crunch. The decoration is outdated and could use some updating, like replacing the carpets and green seats. Adding a TV and playing some reggae music in the background would really liven up the place. The customer service is excellent, especially the older sister who is very nice. I appreciated that they served the food on plates when dining in. The food quality is outstanding and really stands out. The only downside is the decor and could use some fresh paint. Overall, it was a great find and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The food at this restaurant is extremely greasy and almost everything is deep-fried. I ordered the fried rice and was shocked to find a pool of oil at the bottom with floating black pieces, which I assume were burnt. The meal was so unappetizing that I could only manage to take a few bites before giving up. I ended up going to the Korean restaurant next door for dinner instead. I only wanted to explore a different cuisine, but if Caribbean food is like this, it's definitely not my preference.

Just picked up my order . This was my 1st time trying this place. I ordered beef patties jerk wings and curried cabbage. Beef patties no taste jerk wings are the worse. Taste like cinnamon definitely were not grilled curried cabbage again tasteless. Iwill never eat from this place again. You be the judge read the other reviews before going here I just wasted my money.

Authentic, da real ting! Everything taste homemade. We ate in and while carryout is cool, there's more of a personal touch when the food comes out on a plate and is paired with excellent customer service. The curry goat was l amazingly tender, withgreat flavor. The Oxtail Stew... Perfect! Beef patties, taste like made from scratch. Stop by, you owe it to yourself to havesome authentic West Indian cuisine.
