Hot Chili Grill - Benasque

Running on fumes after a hard day in the hills, we fancied something solid and straightforward. Being a Sunday night in low season there weren't too many options available but the Hot Chili Grill hit the spot. Pleasant inside, dark wood sort of neo rustic and Americana themed there were a number of burgers, steaks, sandwiches and enchiladas on the menu. What we chose was a filling, tasty and cheap. There were a few local wines too and a reasonable selection of beers, some more interesting than others. Service was fine. Would definitely go back.

This place is open from at least 18:00 which is a bit unusual there. Visited two or three times during a two-week conference in Benasque, the place is just across from the science center, and is suited for a quick dinner or a long one. Dishes are large and satisfactory, nice to sit outside during good weather (beware of flies). The dessert cake tarta de la muerte is recommended for chocolate enthusiasts.

We've been drinking a couple of beers with friends and one of the 5 bees that were surrounding us end up inside of one glass. The stuff told us that it couldn't be replaced for a new one, company policy they said. Just not acceptable.

I've baked a lot, the best nachos I've ever eaten, in general all very rich.

We are delighted, the food is good with huge rations, we are very satisfied with what we ate and with the attention received
