I dined with my daughter, future son-in-law, and nephew, and we each ordered something different, all of which received a thumbs up. My daughter had a small breakfast burrito that was as big as a football, packed with a variety of breakfast ingredients and smothered in sausage gravy. The future son-in-law went for a towering pastrami sandwich, while my nephew enjoyed a cheesesteak loaded with a mix of interesting peppers—so much so that he took half of it home! I opted for a Chicago Italian Beef, which was a bit different from the traditional dish that comes dunked in gravy; it resembled more of a French dip sandwich with cheese and the classic peppery giardiniera. I would have liked it to be a bit spicier and the au jus more seasoned, but it was still quite good. By the way, there's a display near the register showcasing various pastries and bagels for takeout, which all looked amazing, too!

I visited Rockin' Dave's during our brief stay in Bend after meeting Dave himself on the river the day before. He was incredibly friendly and mentioned that he owned a breakfast restaurant, which piqued our interest. So, we decided to give it a shot and rode our bikes to the restaurant for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The place had a fun music theme, and instead of asking for your name when placing an order, they asked for a band name—such a clever touch! The menu offered fantastic options. We tried the breakfast burrito and the salmon bagel, and both were delicious! We chose to sit on the patio to soak up the lovely weather. Dave personally came to each table to greet customers, and his warm hospitality made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this local gem to everyone visiting Bend.

This restaurant is just a 5-minute drive from my home. I've passed by it over 1500 times without giving it a second thought, but on a whim, we decided to give it a shot. I can honestly say it’s the best bagel sandwich I’ve ever tasted. They offer a wide variety of bagels, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Dave was there, and he really knows how to bring the energy; his personality is infectious, as is that of the entire staff. It took me a little while to finally try it, but now it’s become a regular favorite for me.

Rockin' Dave's is an awesome place to eat. We were passing through Bend on our way to Eugene and stopped by here after playing a show in downtown. It was recommended by one of our band members who's been here before and took us here. The staff was super awesome and Dave was there himself. They went over the entire menu with the band and took our order and got it all correct. The food itself was awesome! Very flavorful and they have a back area for people to sit with hot sauces and TVs. They also give 50% off to traveling bands so if you are a musician looking to eat passing through town, this is a place you must stop at. Dave is a huge fan of music and musicians and he wants to make sure we are treated well. If you were in Bend, give this place a try. You won't regret it.

Every time I come in I get good food. Its a small place but cozy. Its a mellow place and friendly. My favorite are the bagel sandwiches.
