Hospitality is refreshingly pleasant and friendly as well as qualified in the art of excellent service. And the variety of their menu is impressive. We ordered both the lunch buffet and the menu. Friday and Saturday is the dinner buffet. I know what I'm doing this weekend!! If you don't get the chance to enjoy their delicious exotic food and good company in downtown (there is now a lot of parking on the street in their lot!!! , now is your chance to discover these fine people and the kitchen. If you did this, you know. Wow!!!! I couldn't try anything. I mentioned how diverse the elections are to one of the employees, and he smiled and informed me that the participants change every weekend! I have a lot of ground to hide here. The parking was packed, but there is a lot, restaurant was very busy at 6:00, and still a few stands available, so there is plenty of space here. I saw the entrances of 5, 7, 10 sitting fast. The staff welcomed cartridges and 90% of the customers were repeated cartridges and treated like family. It's so nice to see this kind of hospitality. Food was deeeeeelishiuss. You also have a busy exit. Doesn't that sound great???? I'll try next. So far I have only wonderful things to say about the Taj Palace. Consistently an enjoyable experience.
Beyond elated to find out that the new location is open!!! Eating is as amazing as they were in downtown but with sooo much more space and LOTS parking! All gratitude 10/10 EVERY TIME
The food here is very tasteful, I had the lamb biryani last time I came and was not disappointed. You also have excellent customer service every time I have been. Come on!
Excellent Indian food in Bend . We ate on 4. July evening( came from Portland. Service was fast and excellent quality.
My husband and I have been to Taj Palace Indian Cuisine twice, and we left the restaurant highly impressed both times. One thing that has stood out to me most on both of our visits is how attentive and kind the wait staff are. We have not been left without a refill long at all, and the food comes out actually hot, rather than it sitting in the heating window for any length of time. On our last visit, we ordered the mixed vegetable pakora as our appetizer (picture included). The dish was flavorful enough on its own and so crispy, but the three sauces they provided really blew it out of the wayer. Delicious! Both of us ordered Thali Dinners: I chose the Lamb Kurma (picture attached) and my husband decided on the Lamb Biryani. They bring you a hefty amount of food with the dinners; both of us had leftovers that we took home. The dinners also came with a little mango dessert that was the perfect end to the meal. Prices were quite reasonable. We both had an alcoholic beverage a piece as well, and our total (with tip) came to around $60. Not bad! Definitely stop in for a meal if you're ever in the area!
