Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar - Bendigo

Pre ordered pizzas online. When we went in to pick them up we could see our pizzas stacked on the oven. We waited for the only staff member available to serve another customer which took 10 minutes. By the time we got them the Pizzas were cold. Either learn to juggle ie ask others "are you here to pick up an order", takes 30 seconds or have a minimum of 2 staff. Not rocket science.

Wanted pizza on a Monday night. For some reason places we had heard good things about and wanted to try (Nelsons and Say Cheese) were shut as well as the wonderful Lucianos. Went back to an old (but more expensive) fave in Crust.Ordered online via their website. All easy. Delivery was in 45 minutes. Our food arrived in 30 via a very nice delivery man. Admittedly we ordered early, we had our food by 6pm.Ordered two large pizzas and a salad. All up with delivery $55. The pizzas were the Vietnamese Chicken which is my partners favourite pizza of all. He was as usually very happy. I had a Supreme which was also very yummy. The pizzas were super hot so tasted even better. The pear and gorgonzola salad (with rocket and walnuts) had some wilted and yellowed rocket and wasnt as jam packed with the good parts (the cheese and pear) as I remember. I still managed to eat around the old rocket and enjoyed this with my pizza.We even have some pizza left for snacks for later on.In my opinion the pizza from Crust isnt quite as good as places like Sallys/Lucianos and is double the price. It is nice pizza but when you compare it to the other locally owned pizza places, is actually a rip off. A positive for Crust is that they do have some nice salad options and other sides to go with the pizza.

We have ordered pizzas from here a few times now over the last couple of months. Each time we have really enjoyed them. They are always fresh and tasty. Online ordering is easy and quick. They cater for all dietary needs. Breads and sides are nice too. Staff are friendly.

Visiting family in Bendigo so ordered pizza to save cooking as there are quite a few of us with different dietary requirements. Must say they were awesome. Was quite a large order on a Friday Night but got our delivery in the time frame that they gave us when we ordered. Our vegetarians and gluten free family members were well catered for. All the pizzas and sides were delicious Highly recommend the duck one. My son is still raving about the pulled pork and slaw and my nieces got their Hawaiian fix. We were amazed that everyone was catered for and everyone was happy, which I must say with our large family is a big call

We have had a love hate relationship with this "gourmet" pizza place, this was our once a month treat but after the third slap in the face we are going to say farewell once and for all and take our business elsewhere.We regularly ordered a side dish only for it not to arrive with the rest of the food.We have had pizzas arrive with the toppings clumped in the corner of the box after being thrown in and out of the delivery car.And finally I always ask to have a romantic message written inside the lid of my fiancées pizza which has been a special part of our experience. After relaying a personal message to the girl on the phone and being assured that it would be written we instead received a rude msg written on the lid instead. This place charges nearly $40 per pizza and even when they get it right they are only marginally better the the $5 pizzas from any of their competitors.
