Ginger Thai - Bendigo

Good food, big serves, they tried hard to keep us happy and they did. Casual setting, nothing fancy but good all round meal experience. We’re from Melbourne.

First time here for lunch and the restaurant is very clean, well ordered and welcoming. We sat in the rear section and we were greeted by a friendly gentleman that took our drink orders and gave us the menus. My Panang chicken curry was terrific, spicy and flavoursome and a good size for lunch. For starters, the money bags and spring rolls were great value and very tasty. Very good food at a reasonable price and real worth a visit!<br/ <br/

We had a pleasant meal there. The chilli cashew chicken was my favourite.

How has nobody commented on their jungle curry? I guess nobody has survived until me. Fiery hot with flavour that left me looking like I had just been to the gym, sweating and crying. The pad Thai had great flavour but needs to be less gluey. The Fried rice had a lovely flavour. Atmosphere was functional? Hard to describe. Staff were pleasant. I want to go again but choose a dish that does not leave me looking like wet rag. Trust me jungle curry not a good choice for a first date.

Ordered online for delivery, and was not disappointed. In fact, the food surpassed expectations. The food was still piping hot on arrival and tasted delicious to boot. I would definitely recommend and order from there again.
