Quills Restaurant - Bendigo

We went to this restaurant for a birthday party, but our main meals were served 30 minutes apart. Tables that arrived after us were served before us. We had a cake and had to wait another 30 minutes for it to be served. Even after the cake was finally served, our main meal plates were still on the table. The salads were dry and some meals came without salads or vegetables. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. We won't be rushing back to this restaurant. It has potential to improve.

We, where we booked for dinner last night and are so disappointed by dinner. The value was not there. $13.00 for a bowl of chips that did not crispy as advertised, but soggy. It's just new, but that's what's missing.

New owners updated the kitchen and now the bar area, new menu something for all, friendly staff, great fun area,

We stayed at this motel for one night to attend an engagement party and were extremely pleased with our choice. Firstly, they were willing to accommodate our one-night stay, even though they typically have a two-night minimum. Secondly, they upgraded us to a spacious and clean room, which was a pleasant surprise. The price was very affordable considering the quality of the room. The motel is currently undergoing renovations and we were lucky enough to stay in the new section with a view of the lake. Overall, we had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Didn't stay at the hotel but the food was terrific--highly highly recommend. People were super friendly and accommodating.
