Fata Morgana

I fell in love with this place in 2010 and since then I always love to go there. it is a wonderful place, clean, easy, with a beautiful garden. edit, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. it is a leader, so I always ask her for advice and she is a profi in the tourism sector. I love their donkeys and the dogs, they are all so good to behave! it is a quiet place, approx. 10-15 minutes by car to the beach. there is good internet, hot water and a shared kitchen. the price is very affordable. I recommend fata morgana.

Had a great time to stay here in Casa Morgana. In the first night we came too late, and Edit, the owner, left dinner in the city with her family to welcome us and let us in, then brought us to dinner with her family and friends. They were wonderful and fun to hang and about their interesting life in the Dominican. Then had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. You have two great donkeys that wander the property and keep the grass short. The facilities are simple, but clean and offer everything you need, including an additional fan when we needed it. Definitely not a resort, but a step from a hostel. Would definitely go back.

Very nice and clean. you have your own tiny house. good bed, hot water, private bathroom and own outdoor space. the kitchen and the bbq are divided. they can interact with other guests or be on their own. many possibilities in the break. hiking, beaches, waterfall and excursions. in the first months of the year of whale observation.

They were wonderful and fun to hang with and learn about their interesting life in the Dominican. Then had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. They have two awesome donkeys that wander the property and keep the grass short. The facilities are basic but clean and provide everything one would need, including an extra fan when we needed it. Definitely not a resort- but a step up from a hostel. Would definitely go back.
