Cantina Habanero - Benito Juarez

We shared the mixed Fjita grill and it was just okay. The proteins were shrimps, chicken and rock steak. Steak was very salty. The flour tortillas were hard. There were very few paprika and onions. We have eaten in several nearby restaurants and the others are far superior for about the same price.

We visited Cantina Habanero every time we visit Puerto Morelos (last 5 years). Eating is good, Pina Coladas are not as good as before. Vibe is beautiful with nightly music.

The best place to go for a fun meal! The margaritas are perfect and the food is authentic and delicious! Nataly is the best!

I started going to Cantina Habanero four years ago after asking if they would cook my freshly caught fish (which they did many times). Now it’s my go-to restaurant on the avenue. We just got back from a family trip and ate our freshly caught fish there every night. The other food on the menu is also very tasty, it’s a must if you are visiting Puerto Morelos.

The food was good and very inexpensive. Although we were disappointed that they were out of red sauce for the enchiladas the fajitas were still delicious.
