We stumbled upon DK while relaxing in PM. It's a great spot - very relaxed - love all the repurposed items - seats, tires, etc... owner was awesome and chatted with us. We watched the chef clean and ready our lionfish taco. It was the best tacos we had all trip! Over all it was good fun and good food.
We've been here a week try other restaurants much more expansive and none of them are this good, The chicken with the coconut rice was PERFECT! One of our plate was spicy, (we knew in advance) but so, so good, we're are going back for the fish tacos!
Tuve la oportunidad de comer en DK. Que grata sorpresa me he llevado.
My young teen son and I got resort fever and ventured here. We had found it on our own as some of the resort personnel did not know of it. We were rewarded with the Lionfish, delicate in texture and flavor, complemented by fluffy rice with hints of coconut and onion. The tropical flavors blended nicely with a view of the Caribbean. Lionfish is an invasive species in the area so we were simultaneously helping the local ecosystem. One of the owners, Luis, was there, with his 5 year old son also named Luis, as well as Luis the waiter and Luis the cook. The owner Luis's high end restaurant experience was revealed in the dish, as well as his artistic touches to the design of the restaurant, art deco floor with Chinese newspaper wall paper in the bathroom, and jazz music in the background. All the Luises greeted by first name all those who walked by which included ex pats as well as locals. Little Luis played tag with my son while I enjoyed a delicious concoction which combined tequila, mead, and chile liqueur they call the "Bruce Lee."
