Solar Do Pincho - BENSAFRIM

Been here three times and we have always had fabulous Portuguese food. The first two visits were as part of quite large groups and the other was a party of four.You have to prebook and order your food.A local dish of wild boar in a pot is so tasty and different. Duck rice also very tasty and filling.The staff and Sandra are very helpful and cheerful.Thoroughly recomend

Wonderful location, views over the countryside. The ambiance is rustic and comfortable enough. I would say the food is slow cooked and "homely". Good flavour and plenty of it, better than average yet nothing to shout about. More expensive than I would have expected too.

After walking around Pincho we always have lunch at this local restaurant. We experienced good food, wine and cakes served by the friendly owner, for an excellent price.

Fantastic venue, easy access and fantastic views. You should book before visiting as they like to prepare food in advance. Huge common area as you go in with a superb restaurant. Well priced. Popular with locals.

Enjoy our visit every time we visit the area Hidden away near Bensafrim. A gem. Excellent venue but you must book. Very very Portuguese. Not on the holiday radar. Speciality is Wild Boar. Well worth a trip
