Koi Ramen Sushi Don - Bentleigh

I believe we’ve found our go-to Japanese restaurant! After trying many over the years, I can't find anything wrong with this one. The presentation is lovely – simple and elegant, featuring beautiful earthenware dishes that add a stylish touch. The staff are incredibly helpful, always attentive with smiles and ready to assist. The menu is quite extensive, and if I had to point out a downside, it would be that it can be a bit challenging to navigate due to the variety of options and the tri-fold layout of the menu. However, the food is absolutely fantastic, straddling the line of fusion cuisine. There’s something to satisfy every palate, and everything is prepared with great attention to detail. The salmon carpaccio is the most divine, melt-in-your-mouth experience I've ever had. I could easily order five dishes of that and be completely happy. The prices are fair – not too high or too low, which is reasonable given the quality of the ingredients being served.

Absolutely delightful sushi—fresh and flavorful! The teriyaki salmon is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. The service is extremely quick, and this is undoubtedly the best sushi in the area! It's far superior to any chain store sushi.

This charming, cozy local Japanese restaurant exudes an upscale atmosphere. There is a wide range of options on the menu, and every dish is beautifully presented. On my last visit, I ordered the chicken bento, which was reasonably priced, satisfying, and absolutely delicious.

I always love coming here, great atmosphere, classy restaurant space and great food! Their dons and bentos are amazing and can be perfect for takeaway, and their okonomiyaki is delicious! I usually get takeaway and the max I've waited was 15 minutes and that was for a few meals. I have 0 qualms with this place, the workers are very kind and welcoming

I go here regularly as it's a great resturant. Its by far one of the best in bentliegh. The sushi here is amazing and new types pop up now and then. I personally recommend the don bowls, the bentos and thr supurb gyoza, very good value for really good food. However, the miso soup I ordered was very watery and didnt taste great. Other than that i love this place
