Happy Poochie Eatery - Benton Harbor

I visited from out of town and had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and the food was outstanding. I only wish I had a place like this closer to where I live! An added bonus was the inviting atmosphere. I especially appreciate all the greenery; it shows a commitment to the space and adds a refreshing touch to the environment.

Stopped here for a sandwich and soup on our way through town and it was delicious! We will be back :

What a cheerful greeting you get from behind the counter as soon as you walk in the door to HAPPY POOCHIE RESTAURANT right on Main Street in downtown Benton Harbor, Michigan. The place is so sunny and clean. The food is out-of-this-world delicious. Kinda pricey. Around $15 should buy you lunch. I tried the Kids Menu Mac 'n Cheese for $5.00 and shared a salad with a friend. Nice selection of beverages in the cooler to chose from as well. I love this place. Their food is delicious. It’s obvious that they use quality ingredients in their recipes. My personal favorite is the Greek-A-Pita add chicken. It’s so good. The sauce has a hint of dill that makes me crave it. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean.

Everything you need for a quick pit stop for lunch! Clean bathrooms, really friendly service, and great fresh ingredients. Prices were a bit higher than I expected $13 for a sandwich or wrap) but great quality and taste so it was worth it. I think customers would be more happy if it came with a little bit of chips or fries or salad for that price so it felt more like a meal. I loved that the bread was so soft though and it was a great size to eat without making your stomach hurt at all.They have an indoor and outdoor space and drinks for sale as well as cups for water.
