Mardi Gras On The Rend - Benton

I'm not sure what event these people were at , but it was the worst event the resort has ever put on and that's saying something. All of the resorts boat docks were closed even to guests of the resort for apparently no reason because there sure wasn't a crowd blocking them. There was absolutely no lighted boat flotilla I'm not sure if there was supposed to be or if that was a joke either way it sure turned out to be a joke. The bands seemed to be shipped in from the nearest retirement home . And one beer tent maybe 3 vendors and 2 food stands were far from advertised. I stay at the resort a lot so I wasn't exactly expecting Mardi Gras but even with low expectations I was very disappointed.

I liked it, we had a great time! I wish that more people could have been there, Rend Lake Resort is a really nice place it just needs a little tlc, and should be used for a lot more of these public type events .
