The café has a straightforward setup with a rotating selection of lunch plates that can vary in quality. There's a comfortable dining area right after you order and pay. I recently tried the lunch special: rotisserie chicken (white meat), served with sweet corn pudding, perfectly seasoned potatoes with black pepper, and moist corn bread. The land ham sandwich and onion rings are also fantastic! I'll be sure to stop by again on my next trip.
Just an average pit stop... many kentucky crafts, but I'm digressing the food. Had an Angus Burger. They easily admit it is a frozen product (and machine shaped to make it look like it handmade...sorta) Good if you like frozen burgers. Weekday Plates Lunch vary and are quite decent. They still provide more formal food, which was quite good years ago and some of the same customers come again and again. They tore the I75 rest areas, set into an exit and all Interstate traffic looking for a rest room and a rest make it a popular place.
A must visit! If for no other reason than to see (and buy) high quality Kentucky craftsmen, you must visit this place! The place is actually a rest stop, but you've never seen a rest stop. In Berea, you will find a beautifully crafted stone building reminiscent of a monastic retreat, reminiscent of the visitor's joy of vision and taste. On the back of the center there is a tray restaurant with standard sandwiches and salads on one side and rotating kentucky fair on the other side. Food is very good for a tablet.
Absolutely fantastic! This was the best stop I've ever made during a long drive. After eight hours on the road, I decided to check out this place, and it did not disappoint! It's a beautifully designed spot, and the café serves really delicious food. I tried the Angus burger with fries, and it was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love supporting local artisans, and this shop did not disappoint! I found the most beautiful pottery teapot I've ever seen, along with a charming artwork, amazing hand-forged metal pieces, and a quirky yet adorable pottery fish head to hang on my wall. Plus, there’s a wonderful selection of local coffee, as well as delightful hand lotions and candles. It's a treasure trove of gifts for friends and family, or perfect additions for your own home!
