We celebrated a double birthday today. I had already been there but for others it was a novelty... Needless to say that everyone was excited. Only genuine, healthy, sustainable food, at good price and especially delicious. Wine of the house much above the average so that among all we bought 14 bottles to take home. Me and my family are vegetarians and we ate very well! If you want to eat in half an hour you better stay home but the beautiful here is just enjoying life and food. Very highly recommended and I put it in my top 5 ever.

When we were in Trivolzio on this wonderful sunny Sunday and wanting to have lunch in the area, we stopped at Cascina Vigne, never tried before: a pleasant stop! The environment is both external and internal is very simple, rustic and spartan, suitable for those who do not formalize and look at the substance. Fresh food, zero km and cooked at the moment, with local raw materials and in compliance with seasonality. The menu is fixed and includes: some mixed appetizers (salumi, tortini, crocchette vegetables, various sublii, fabulous quail eggs, very fresh Russian salad, etc., bis of first, bis of second and sweet. I particularly enjoyed the freshness and genuineness of the dishes. The first are good (pasta zucchini and speck, risotto with red wine and salami pasta but the duck I ate as second was really exquisite (galline, turkeys and ducks are bred by them, you see them peeling on the back. That the fruit tart. Very kind the owners who with their smile and availability made us feel welcome. Two ideas for improvement: the times of service, perhaps a little too dilated, and I suggest a better care of the outdoor spaces, which could enhance the place and make it even more welcoming. Nice donkeys and goats around the place!
