We were really hungry as we went to festival the day before and didn't eat that much but totally underestimated the size and the richness of the food we shared a board of local cheese, cured meats, and fresh focaccia (only 9 euros), had a pasta each, then realised the mains we had ordered was pushing our stomachs to the limit. However, they were soooo good: I had slow roasted rump which was very tender and the portion was size was really good; my wife had the steak strips in rosemary, again very tender and full of flavour. For some reason, we thought having the oven roasted potatoes with them would be a good idea (they were very good), but it took me too 1/3 of my main! Luckily, the staff gave us the leftovers (a meal in itself) in a takeaway box. The total price, with a couple of beers and a 1/2 litre of wine, came to 84 euros. Given the quality of the produce, the expertise of the kitchen, and the chilled surroundings, it was worth it not for everyday, but for a chilled Sunday lunch (when we went) then I would recommend.
Very kind staff, good dishes, and plentiful with the goto of a very well cared house kitchen and genuine products, we will definitely return, we recommend to try at least once
