Fudbox - Bergamo

Stumbled across this kiosk whilst visiting the GAMec galleria, its just around the corner. Great tasting burgers and superb craft beers in a contemporary little courtyard, would highly recommend

We arrived in Bergamo on a cold Saturday night and wanted something hearty but informal. We came across Fudbox and at first we were not sure what it was. However, we saw the menu on the door and decided that it looked like this could be a decent burger joint. And we were so right! We both went for the double cheeseburger (the biggest burger well, we were very hungry). The bun was soft and nicely warmed, the bacon light but full of flavour and the patties themselves...wow! They were excellent. Good quality meat and cooked to perfection ie slightly pink and juicy. So many burger joints on the street use poor quality beef or overcook the burgers. These were perfect. Beer and fries also available and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Good value, good quality fast food.

I had known fudbox at the street food event from victorious to brusporto. I was at their kiosk to try their sandwiches again. the small space on the outside is well maintained and the tables are clean, the people at the dishes and in the chest were very kind, the sandwiches are assembled with good ingredients, but the flavors are not well balanced, the level seems a little down compared to what I remembered. I took a double cis, (from 15.5€ delicious, but I found a little uncomfortable the fact that a sandwich with so much filling was composed with its slices of small bread and those that accompany many smaller sandwiches. I had to ask for some cutlery to eat because after the first bites the sandwich was completely cleared. I would suggest that we adapt the bread size to the filling. I enjoyed the possibility of ordering bio drinks (for a euro more than those of the most famous industrial houses.

Delicious food and extremely friendly staff. the place is directly in front of a road so don't expect much calm, but the small space that they have behind where to eat is really very nice, has a very simple but pretty ambience.
