Location could look this place a bit touristy, but seriously, this place is great! great outsight, super beautiful hostess and waitress, amazing food quality and cheap prices. we had the fish soup and the red fish. both excellent! what can we ask for more? perfect!
Right in front of the harbour and next to the open market is this glazed, walled seafood restaurant. the view is spectacular as they can see the beautiful colored houses of bergen. the environment inside is also really beautiful. it's always full. the seafood fresh and there is a good choice of the crabs. king crab is her speciality. lobster and garnel.
Fresh seafood and fish. Norwegian taste with vegetables and crumbs. our appetizers were delicious, main dishes (fish) good and desserts very good. Vanilla ice cream with caviar worked very well! the service was friendly, but a bit annoying. our waiter was not willing to discuss the courses in detail that I would have expected in this price category restaurant. overall a good experience.
During a stay in Bergen, I can only recommend this restaurant. Not only the food was convincing, which rightly met the requirements of finesse, freshness and Norwegian Felling , no, it was also the staff, which was very open and attentive and created a feel-good atmosphere. One note: the main course was brought when we still had the appetizer. It would be good to coordinate this better next time.
