Restaurant Delphi - Bergen

The place's decor was totally something from another time, but every person has a different taste I guess. Even though we were the only 4 people in the restaurant, our food took ages to arrive. The steaks however were large, tender and delicious (unfortunately a little too drowned in pepper for my taste). In my opinion, people must be coming back for the adorable waitress.

I was told this place was awesome so booked it for my husbands birthday for 18 of us, there is only one waitress and to get drinks was a nightmare, we also waited 2 hours for our food. When the steak finally came it was like eating a old boot. The waitress was funny though and if they had more staff so they did not have to rush it would be a great little place.

We went to this restaurant for a leaving function, 15 people. The service was that poor that three times people from out group had to go up to the front of the restaurant and ask for drinks, which then took a further 15 mins to arrive at the table. It took 1 1/2 hours to get our meals to the table. When mine arrived two pieces of the meat were burnt and inedible, there was food missing from one plate which they then bought out 10 mins later. The one waitress that they had was actually drunk. She was stopping at all the tables drinking Ouzo with the other guests. They do give out free Ouzo to guests at the end of the meal but she was drinking more than she was giving away. I did complain about my food and was refunded my meal. However she then proceeded to hug me and say please come back. This is not the sort of behavouir I expect to receive in a family restaurant.We had been to this place a maybe three times before, the service has always been slow but the food normally ok. We will not be going back.
