Papa John's Pizza - Bergenfield

Fantastic experience! Sam was such a friendly and welcoming person, and he went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We ordered the Burrata Pizza with added spinach, and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much, Sam! We’ll definitely be back!

When I went to order two pizzas—one cheese and one with bacon—he informed me that he couldn't prepare the bacon one either, claiming it would take 40 minutes. I found myself wondering if the pig was still alive in the back, considering the wait! I decided to order the pizzas and told him I’d be right back since I needed to grab something for my wife at another store. He insisted I pay upfront because he wasn't sure I would return. I reassured him that I had come specifically to support his business, and I would definitely be back. After I left and returned a few minutes later, he was trying to apologize. While his pizza is really good, it's clear that he's a bit overwhelmed, which negatively impacts his service. Also, he charges a 4% fee for debit card transactions, making my total for two pizzas and three drinks $50, which feels excessive. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. It’s just not worth the hassle.

I ordered a pizza with my friend, and it was quite disappointing. I wouldn't recommend eating here.
