The Beehive Cafe - Berkeley Springs

We went to the Beehive early in the morning for breakfast before a meeting near Berkeley Springs. My husband ordered the full breakfast platter, which came on two plates with a pancake, scrambled tofu, hash brown potatoes, sausages, and more. He loved the food, saying it was delicious and a perfect plant-based breakfast. The scrambled tofu was the best he had ever tasted, the pancake was light and fluffy, and the potatoes were really good. I had a smoothie, followed by creamy and well-seasoned grits with an eggless patty. We left for our meeting and when it ended around 4:30pm, my husband wanted to return to the Beehive for more food. That's how much he enjoyed it. The cost was very reasonable.

The Beehive Cafe is a delightful spot to dine. Despite our initial bad mood, the staff's friendliness and the welcoming atmosphere quickly turned things around. The food was outstanding, with highlights including the cheesesteak sub, turkey bacon club, and bbq mac and cheese. Even the meat-eater in our group was impressed by the bbq dish. We returned for breakfast the next day and were equally impressed with the delicious bagel sandwich and scones. I highly recommend visiting the Beehive if you're in the area.

I was amazed to discover a fully vegan restaurant with an impressive menu in this small town! I highly recommend trying the cheese steak and chicken melt. The restaurant also has a wonderful mission to educate people about plant-based living. I would definitely recommend it!

Stopped in on a Sunday and had the Cheesy Grits Bowl and the Crispy Jalapeño Burger. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Friendly happy faces and dynamite food! A must stop if you are anywhere near Berkeley Springs. The owners also are investing time and money into supporting their community’s health and wellness through positive actions.

So glad they were open on Labor Day, as we had been dreaming of trying this place out for over a year! Such a cute location, and everything we ordered was fantastic! Top notch Reuben. Some of the best Mac and cheese ever. Burger, chopped kale salad, BBQ, and breakfast sandwiches were really good too. Can’t wait to try other items next visit! Really wish they were open Saturdays, as that is typically the only day we are in town. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-05
