La Note - Berkeley

I recently tried the Corbeille de Pain and the Les Diabolos at La Note, and I was impressed. The bread basket was generous in size and offered a wonderful variety. It was the perfect portion for two people to share alongside our breakfast. The Pomegranate and Lemon Les Diabolos were both absolutely delicious.

I can't stop raving about how AMAZING the breakfast is! Every detail is crafted to perfection. While it may be a bit more expensive, it's absolutely worth every penny—you won't regret it!

Typically, the food here is nearly perfect. I hope my recent experience was just a fluke. My omelette, potatoes, and toast were all swimming in a greasy liquid. The omelette fell apart, and the ham was cold. I ended up pouring off the liquid and transferring the food to another container. If I hadn't taken insulin, I probably wouldn't have eaten it.
