Tara's Organic Ice Cream - Berkeley

For more than ten years, this has been one of the best ice cream spots in the Bay Area! I've introduced many people to this place. My friends worked there while we were in culinary school. It truly is a local gem, and Tara is delightful. The basil flavor is my absolute favorite, and I will always come back as a loyal customer.

The peach sorbet was outstanding—truly unbeatable. The hibiscus sorbet pop was fantastic as well. They also offered a honey sorbet that was just a small scoop, but it was delicious. I tried a variety of other flavors, and all of them were excellent. I will definitely be back, possibly even tonight!

This has to be the best ice cream I’ve ever had! I tried the cherry smoke flavor, and it's perfectly balanced—not too sweet, and wonderfully creamy. The cone was my favorite part. The ambiance of the place is unique; it feels very open and welcoming with no corners to be found. I can't wait to go back and enjoy it again. Thank you, Tara!

The lavender and coffee comb was quite fire, and hopefully I won't be too high to find out the Sundae option next time?

LOVE the flavors —they have the most unique flavors you are going to find. I got darjeeling tea, cardamom, lavender.Downsides are portion size (scoops are extremely small for the prize) and lack of ambiance/seating space.
