When I went inside it reminded me of a place I used to frequent back in Queens. Family owned and operated, the young man who took care of me at the front was very polite. I got my food on-time and hot. The food was great, I have absolutely no complaints. The General Tsos was actually spicy like I prefer, the rice was fresh and flavorful. The Lo-Mein was just what I expected. I would definitely order here again.
Moon Star has very good food, but they are closed on Sunday.. I don't know why, other Chinese restaurants are closed on a Monday or Tuesday. I live down the street they have lost so much on Sunday which is a great business day, you are losing so much money!
Not to sure if they got a new cook or what... BUT... this was the ONLY place I would order my Chinese food from... this last order was honestly horrible.... couple bites in the trash it went...I def don't have money to waste so it will be a longggggg time before I order again on top of the fact of having to find a new Chinese restaurant to order from.
Fine place for Chinese in a pinch. Service was great! Prices weren’t bad at all, the off set was portions were slightly smaller than I’ve seen at other Chinese restaurants. If you get the general tso chicken be aware that it’s spicy maybe spicier than you’d normally find.Chicken lo main was nothing special for the extra 3 bucks (approx) I’d prob go without it as a side next time.Conclusion- it was a fine place to go to in a pinch, while it likely won’t be my go to spot going forward, it’s a solid back up
Walked in today the food spelled freshed. Received my food the boneless spare ribs was perfectly made and tasty the general tso chicken was good and tasty the rice was fresh ! Definitely the best I have tasted in Cromwell !!!
