The owners Nicole and Ken are so friendly and nice which always makes us want to go see them. Im addicted to their pork vermicelli and lemongrass pork chops. The pho is amazing and whenever we go, we buy a quart of the broth and use it in any recipe that calls for broth. I want to start drinking it like tea before bed. It's really that good.
The food is off the charts delicious. Don't miss the grilled pork or chicken over rice noodles. The pho is excellent, heals the body and heart with every sip. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
Such a cute little space! I’ve had vietnamese all over New England and this is the most PHO-nominal by far. The owners are very nice and personable Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Brisket, Spring Roll

Finding good Vietnamese cuisine can be a bit of a challenge here in Connecticut, so stumbling upon Pho Grill in Rocky Hill was like uncovering a hidden gem. Being Vietnamese, my cravings for a hearty bowl of pho often lead me to various places, and I was eager to try this place as my usual was closed (and my mom wasn't making any). To start off, I shared a Bánh Mì Bò Nướng (grilled beef Vietnamese sandwich) as they only offer spring rolls and egg rolls for actual appetizers. Let me say, it was probably the best Bánh Mì I've had in Connecticut! The bread was soft, the meat was well seasoned, and the pickled vegetables were not overwhelming. And they make their own Vietnamese butter! For the main course, I had the Phở Bò Viên (pho with beef meatballs). While I generally prefer my meatballs without the gừng (ginger with a texture resembling fat), it was minimal and didn't bother me. The pho was an aromatic delight, with clear broth indicative of meticulous preparation and quality ingredients. It's not the best I've ever had, but I would definitely say Pho Grill serves the best pho in this area, and the cleanliness of the place is also commendable. I actually felt like I was eating at an auntie's house. I only wish their appetizer menu offered more Vietnamese fish sauce chicken wings would be a fabulous addition! Despite the limited appetizer options, I would definitely come back, especially for the Bánh Mì.
