I've tried the cinnamon roll, a glazed donut, and a stuffed bread from this bakery, as well as some of the samples they have available to waiting customers. All have been fantastic. You can tell Tony is passionate about food and he is a ray of light warmly welcoming us in when we stop by. Highly recommend this local business!Parking: Park on road or in lot across from Mitchell's
A fabulous bakery with delicious and unique food...new to our town and we love it...made with care and tradition, you won't find anything like it. We have had their German classic Stolen, Ricotta cheese pie, cookies, Meatball meatloaf Stuffed bread, Pot pie and Basil with sundried tomatoes stuffed bread...one other thing the Shortrib stuffed bread...just awesome...one thing get there as soon as you can because Tony only makes so much until the following weekend.Try this wonderful and delicious food..you will go back again and again.
OMG!!!!!!! If I could give 100 stars I would. I consider myself a connecticut bakery connoisseur. I find a bakery in each town and buy away. Well I am delighted to say that I found Tony's close to home and his baking skills are unparalleled!!! My word, where do I start....so delicious, so tasty, so unique, so scrumptious!!! Everything is good!!!You can't go wrong with Tony! Thanks Tony for the love you put in your baked goods!!Donna
Ton’y Flour Shop is an adorable little pop up. I almost missed it because it shares a from with another bakery, and his sign is just small on the door, and was partially obscured by timely decorations. The only employee appears to be Tony himself I assume that’s the owner’s name), and he’s incredibly friendly. Willing to chat without being overbearingly friendly in any way. And he has little plates sitting out for you to taste some of the products before you buy.I got 5 things, and they’re all delicious! The stuffed breads were a little costlier than I expected $15 each), but that’s because they are way more food than I was expecting. Each of them could easily be a full meal on their own. And the pastries are reasonable prices $5 each), while being delicious. The atmosphere is great. The decorations are clearly things that mean a lot to the owner, so it makes for a warm and inviting experience.Overall I highly recommend Ton’y Flour Shop. If you enjoy supporting small businesses, this place is a must!Dietary restrictions: I didn’t ask specifically about cross contaminations. But one of the pastries I got the Fluffernutter Sandwich) was listed as being Gluten Free, so there should be at least one option for those who cannot eat gluten.
