Agni - Berlin

This restaurant is so small with only few tables inside and bench outside. They serve authentic Indian food from vegetarian or vegan to meat like lamb, beef and chicken. In lunch time can be very crowded as they serve nice lunch business menu for so...little money. We try lunch vegetarian zucchini balls and it was so delicious and comes with salad and basmati rice, i try their lamb menu with tandoori spicy style, surprisingly delicious and the meat is melted in glorious tandoori sauce, it came with rice and salat also sesame naan bread. The side dish we try papadam and home made dipping with green chili, mint and palm sugar. Everything delicious here and fast serving as they offer business menu as well. The only strange experience is that after we pay they only accept cash) we walk out from the restaurant and the owner of the restaurant is standing at the door and he didn’t even move when my wife try to pass and squeezes him at the front door! Common man we are your customers you can move a bit and gave us a way! Those attitude we found very irritating even we still gave full star for the menu but maybe you will have the experience like us in the future but hopefully he will read this and realize and learn how to treat customers.

Small and friendly restaurant, best for take away. Tasty dishes with rich flavours, can recommend this establishment!

We were staying in Berlin Just for one night and we were looking for something to eat near our hotel. We found this one within walking distance from hotel. The place is small with just few tables but food was amazing, really authentic Indian taste....Main dish served with rice on huge plates-huge portions. One of the best Indian restaurants we had during our Europe trip.

Met a good friend here for dinner. He is from India and says this is the best out of the or so Indian restaurants he has eaten at. He tells me this is the closest you can get to authentic Indian food in Berlin....He knows the chef and says that he puts a lot of effort into every dish. What more do you need to see. Go there now!
