Babis Ouzeri - Berlin

Dopo aver letto alcune recensioni abbiamo deciso di cenare da Babis, ottima scelta! Cucina casalinga, molto gustosa, buon vino rezina e ottimo ambiente: da provare!

Zeer leuk klein Grieks restaurantje welke gerund wordt als hobby door de Griekse eigenaar, zijn vrouw en dochter. De eigenaar is ook eigenaar van de naastgelegen televisiezaak en runt als hobby voor zijn kookkunst daarnaast dit restaurantje. De inrichting is eenvoudig. Volgens zeggen van de eigenaar heeft hij hier ook af en toe hoogwaardigheidsbekleders ontvangen zoals Helmut Kohl, de Griekse minister van buitenlandse zaken en meer, Het eten is goed verzorgd en erg lekker.

After I read the review about the Lamb shank I went there yesterday evening with my mum, because both we love the lamb meat and it is true – we got absolutely excellent lamb shanks and we was lucky, that was the last two for this week.Very nice Greek restaurant, great, kind service and we tested the fruity, dry red house wine and the wine was great, too! Also we liked the nice atmosphere and we’ll come back soon!

The “Babis’ Ouzeri” is a small, very comfortable Ouzeri. The very pleasant and pretty waitress Susana welcomed us and soon brought us as a present from the restaurant a small starter. We asked for a good, dry red Greek wine and Susana advised us a real good, dry and fruity wine.Before the main course we had a Choriátiki salad, the typical Greek salad, what was absolutely fresh made. As the main course we ordered a mixed plate of typical Greek food. It was a lot of very tasty grilled meet with Tsaziki and potatoes.Beside the menu card you can find a daily card.From the daily card I’ve chosen the Lamb shank and it was definitely the best Lamb shank I ever got in a restaurant – big compliment and thanks to the cook! The meat was so mellow and soft, that you don't had to cut it from the bone; just use the fork.Completed was our visit in the “Babis’ Ouzeri” with some Ouzos.For sure we’ll come back to enjoy this great food very soon!

Am besten schmeckts, wenn Babis selber kocht, ansonsten ist es manchmal gut und dann wieder nichts besonderes. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär, die Versorgung mit Ouzo bestens, der Wein in Ordnung. Alles in allem ein netter Kieztreff ohne großen Anspruch
