The Berkis is called tavern and this describes the style quite well. It's not a blue-white smell. The snack can be seen from the guest room through a wide wall passage. You get to see the fresh gyrospoke; a good impression for a decision for or against a gyro dish. The actual restaurant is very manageable with perhaps ten to twelve two tables, some of which are linked to fours. A counter completes the setup. Berkis is certainly not a restaurant to spend a long evening. But the quality of the food and the very cheap price-performance ratio make a return recommended, probably not for Saturday night, but if you are close and feel appetite for Greek home cooking (on weekdays the Berkis is open all the way from 11:30 am . Since I visited the Berkis in a late afternoon, I can say little about the audience. The only more lively table was occupied with adults aged in the gravel. Here are other good experiences with Greeks in Berlin: Der Kretaner, Taverne Athene, Restaurant Z, Elena, Estiatorion Jevssis, Nemesis, Pratirio, Ousies. Nobel, with Greek residual lengths the Cassambalis. expensive dimocritos, moderately the ypsilon. Service: In service a male force in black Berkis-Poloshirt. Behind the counter a female slender. The male operators (Plural because of shift change friendly. The drinks came quickly and the dishes were in pleasant stages. For half a litre of retsina 6,00 € are due. The Pils 0.3 l costs €2.30 and a liter of water from the tray bottle is available for very cheap €3.30. So a very moderate price level for the drinks. There was only a cool Ouzo on the house. Food: The menu can be under [here link] to be seen. Although it is shown as a fare ticket, the prices are identical to the ticket prices in the restaurant. In addition, there is a daily ticket. Among the main dishes of the grill you can choose between pumice, rosemary salads, vegetables and rice noodles. I had the Pikilia (mixed cold appetizers for 6,00 € . Several pastes were found on the plate, each with a proper tablespoon: Tzatziki, Tarama, Skordalia, Auberginenpürree, Kichererbsenpürree, Schafskäsecreme, Gigantes, Rote-Beete-Salat, Schafskäse cube, a wine leaf and a Pepperoni. Mostly homemade and very well seasoned. There was a basket with several slices of fresh baguettes. Given the quality of the bids and the price, the 4 star was worth the assessment. A large pepper mill was brought without request. Then the sponge plate with pommes (10.50 € and four pieces of warm Pita bread. On the plate two small lamb spits on wooden sticks. The meat inside still rusty and delicate. On the outside strongly spiced, with herbal note and good barbecue aroma. The Pommes neat. A good Klacks Tzatziki and a small herb salad, the Pita-Brot rather boring. The white herb is cut very small and juicy (so pushed or worries without being dressed. A good eater is not fed with the portion size. Because of the good meat, I give 3 stars for the main food. If I let go of appetizer and main food for just a toe of €16.50, then I give weak four stars for the overall performance of the kitchen. Ambience: The wooden tables are black and clear. Matching chairs with leather cushion. On the walls leather seat benches with high backrest. Large bright tiles on the floor. On the bright walls only a few framed photos and wall lights. Very reduced, almost economical. The second tables to my taste quite small. Between the tables sufficient movement space. In the entrance the tables are close to the door. There is no need to sit there in winter. The walls at the front of the house urgently need a painter's hand, they are clearly visible part of bumped, partly dirty. From the speakers you hear a Greek radio station, not disturbing loud. Cleanliness: Because of the partly unsightly walls only three stars. The men's room very small, but clean.

Small, unfortunately very loud business, but with good Greek dishes. Very delicious and inexpensive very good! Even the water comes from Crete.
The best Gyros-Pita in Germany! No joke! Thanks for everyone. In the lockdown also TO GO!
A nice little Greek snack at Winterfeldtplatz. Popular with all neighbors. And if it's a bit more, you can go directly to the neighboring Greek restaurant.
