Berkis Greek Art Fast Food - Berlin

I pointed to what I wanted on the menu as a starter and received something different. I explained that I did not order it and that I pointed to the menu what I wanted, not being able to speak German. An rather irate manager argued but a replacement was provided. The manager then continued to be assertive with my German colleague that I had made a mistake. I just received the bill and they charged me forboth starters. The meal was enjoyable but the service sadly put a cloud on the evening.

I go to Berkis very often, especially to the snack where you can take away food. The snack is conected to the main restaurant so they share kitchen and personnel. The food has always been of quality, and the Greek family that owns both places is very kind and know how to treat guests well.

Tasty greek restaurant. The place is very cozy, we felt very welcomed there. I ordered fried sardelen and felt like I am in Greece :).The food in general was just really tasty. I would definitely return.

We ordered the calamari, halloumi and the lamb shank special. Everything was perfect - absolutely delicious. The waitress was very friendly and even gave us free ouzo shots to finish our meal. The restaurant is extremely well priced. Highly recommended! Will definitely be returning.

The gyros was very basic. just meat, pita, a few fries and very very little sauce below expectations.
