Hackescher Hof - Berlin

The Bircher muesli is superb and the lovely crepes paper thin. This restaurant opens for breakfast earlier than most of the others in Hackerche Market and is the smartest of them of all

We found this restaurant almost by accident. We read about the famous Hackescher Hof courtyard and decided to check it out, knowing there would probably be somewhere decent to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely, varied menu and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The last before we headed home to Scotland. I would definitely eat there again and highly recommend it.

Straight in the neighborhood of the "Hackeschen Höfen" you will find the restaurant at the crossing. The lunch is kind of classy German with a little touch of a fancy composition - and reasonably priced. It is mandatory to order one of the coffee specialities. Enjoy!

We wandered into this restaurant's vicinity while returning from museum island to our hotel. It is good quality German cuisine but not the routine fare. The service was friendly and good. It is also near the Anne Frank museum.

The food here was fine, it was not spectacular for the price and it definitely was not worth what we paid for it. the portion sizes were ok but then I wouldn't have expected much for a place like that anyway. my biggest issue by far was the service. we went in the evening on 7/5/17. the waitress started taking our order then half way through stopped me from talking and went to the bar area and started taking someone's drinks to them on another table. then came back but instead of finishing off the job she started went and got the bill and took that to next doors table before coming back to us with no apology and a face like thunder. when she put the wine on the table my friend went to pick it up and she all but snatched it out of her hand so she could pour it and looked down on my friend. she stood over us the whole time and actually very rudely interrupted our conversation to ask us if we wanted pudding. I absolutely do not expect service like this in a place like this and it ruined our evening out. needless to say, she did not get a tip from us. I wouldn't ever go back there.
