Petrocelli Ristorante am Kurfuerstendamm

A complete catastrophe began with the unfriendly well-being. the waiter didn't let us sit in the main restaurant as these tables were reserved. but a few pipes and sat there without reservation after almost five minutes. in the meantime the waiter who should serve us brought their friends first, who came to us, with drinks. I reminded them we came before and we waited for water. she advised me not to complain about little things and to enjoy dinner. the salmon carpaccio was tasteless, it tasted when it was left in the water. so my son couldn't eat it. The meat carpaccio was ok. we complained about it, then the waiter took it back and brought the menu. No one came back to ask if he wants to order something. we spent almost an hour with the starter and asked the waiter about the main dishes. instead of apologising them “politically” she said that they have waited for the order of my life!? I was really nervous at this point. the other waiter was shocked when she heard we were waiting for the main courts. we waited another 15-20 minutes. I was really angry and I said I won't pay for the courts for waiting for one and a half hours. I ate my laughs. it was ok, salat dressing was probably with mayonnaise that I don't prefer. my son, who likes pizza very much, could not finish because the pizza dough was not crumbling and tasty. Finally I asked for one who is useless in the fact that our evening was spoiled. the friendly waiter came and asked for a dessert or coffee, but we wanted to go. in the “political sounding” dame came the bill. she died two small bottles of water and a salmon carpaccio that she was supposed to cancel! and she claimed that my son ate the half of the salmon that was not true! she insisted that she had done one to cancel drinks! it was unacceptable to me! I insisted on making a fallen for almost 90 minutes waiting time. finality the other dame came and has announced at least one pizza. it was the worst dinner experience from beginning to end that I've ever had.

Rude service losing interest when ginding out we only wanted drink. Asked for a beer on the menu but Simply was offered another label without no reason. Wanted to pay by creditcard but apparantly there was no wifi connection so after 3 tries we paid...cash and the waiter never returned the change but Simply thought it to be a tip. What a disappointment

We have visited Berlin once or twice a year through the last 10-12 years. Petrocelli is next to the hotel we stayed in the first 5-6 times, and it became a tradition to come here. Great pizzas, good wine, ‘Italian’ service, great atmosphere, not too...expensive and lots of people. Not at least our daughters, now 12 and 14, loved the place. During the years Petrocelli went ever so slightly down the slippery slope of lower quality food, higher prices and worse service. But tradition still brought us back. Last year we decided that it had been the final visit, the atmosphere was gone, together with the good food and the service. And then we anyway came back last week, maybe in the hope that a bit of the old magic would be back. Not so! After being seated at a table inside and having ordered drinks (no available seats outside), we waited to order food. And waited. And waited. The waitresses were not overworked in the half empty restaurant but apparently not interested in servicing us as guests. She honestly couldn’t care less. Then we left. Of course after having explained to the head waitress the 10 year story behind. So much for tradition and customer loyalty. Farewell Petrocelli, may you rest in peace.

I had a drink here with a dear friend of mine because it was such a great place to be. We sat outside because it was such great weather. We didn’t eat, only popped in for drinks. The food on the plates looked lovely. We...waited for 20 minutes before we could order which is to long. It took an other 15 min to bring 2 drinks. Apparently you can smoke you’re cigars. It was awful. When 1 cigar was put out, some nice gentleman somewhere else lit one up.

Waited 20min at the table. Waitress just ignored us even after I asked her if I can order. Didn’t even ask for drinks or anything else. We left the restaurant. I‘m working directly at Kudamm. The lunch is quite ok but the service is horrible.
