Restaurant-Cafe Garcon - Berlin

Perfect place to spend time with a company of friends. fine eating, great workers and a wonderful selection of music.

On a beautiful small square. friendly waiter. the menu looks quite promising and quite French. but courts are far from French.

The nearest metro stations to the café garcon are berlinerstraße (U7) at 400 m and the fehrbelliner platz (u2, u3 and U7) at 450 m. the caffe is located at the northwest end of the fechnerstraße near the sigmaringen street. my friends brought me to the French restaurant in the opposite place where they live. we arrived at 19:30 a.m. and the place was already very busy and my friends said that Café garcon was very popular with the locals. we ordered a steak with pommes frites, two boeuf bouruignon, a bottle of red wine and a large bottle of champagne. I asked to go with my boeuf bouruignon. the food came in immediately and we were all really satisfied. the bill for the three of us was 76.10, which was quite reasonable for what we had. I had no problems adding a tipp when paying with credit card. Café garcon is a cozy, lively place with good value for money, so I would probably come back as my friends live close to. it really feels french what it stands out among the many “Fake” restaurant nationalities in berlin.

I use it in the rule as bar, as eating is a little expensive for clinic standards. it is cozy and friendly and a great place to pick and read a beer, for example.

We leave in the neighbourhood and eat here about once a month. Not once did we have a bad meal or experience, staff is lovely and the atmosphere is somewhat relaxed without being scruffy.
