Schwiliko Restaurant - Berlin

Took a seat (3 people) and after 5 mins the waitress came. Asked what we want to eat/drink, one person is ordering badrijani and a wine and the other one ajaruli khachapuri and a german hefeweifen. I ordered only a german hefeweizen. After we said we are done ordering (that's all we want) she is starring at us and getting kinda angry. Acting like she's doing you a favor and being really pissed..Sorry guys but the beer I bought here is not worth it.

Food is mediocre, nothing to remember, few choices and expensive. I was in much better georgian restaurants in Berlin.

Starter was great, something a bit different - the salads. Main was simple and tasty. Took ages to get any attention to pay, and they weren't busy. Then was informed they don't take cards for less than 30 Euro which was not expected. Then had to ask for the receipt. Bit strange, experience at the end took the edge off it for me but food was good.

If you like Georgian cuisine please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Food is definitely mediocre, overpriced and simply plain. As it was said in many reviews before, the owner (manger?) of the restaurant behaves like she is doing you a favor and she doesn't mind you getting out of their place as fast as possible. Overall, the only plus of the place is the location.

My visit here was uniquely bad. I was excited to try this place as I love Georgian food so I went along with my wife. Before I even got the chance to order from the menu the owner and manager (an old woman) yelled at me for allegedly splashing water on the sink in the bathroom! I was staggered and had to ask her to repeat as I couldn't believe anyone in the restaurant business could be so ignorant. She very aggressively remonstrated with me and at this point I said 'I've had enough', at which point we left. I was absolutely disgusted. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague.
