Strassenbrau - Berlin

Excellent and a wide choice of beer brewed on the premises. A great antidote for winter blues. Friendly and welcoming staff in a location with almost as much character as the drinks.

Verry Nice beers, specially the mango-rose IPA is verry good. Furthermore the italian waitress was verry kind, funny and helped us verry well. We Will definitly come back. Both for the beer and for the waitress. People could take an example of her about friendlyness...and service.

Berlin is a city bristling with great brewpubs and craft beer bars and I would most definitely put Strassenbrau up there with the very best ,it's a bar I always make a beeline to on my annual day holiday in August to this most...vibrant of cities. Walking in and you know your in a great bar,big shiny brewing kettles prominently on display, a cool looking serving bar with boards over the bar displaying the beers on offer,exposed brickwork, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this cool brewpub. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a roasting hot Wednesday afternoon, all outside seating was took but with temperatures hitting the degree mark hardly surprising really, we moved inside were a very pleasant member of staff greeted us warmly, after a quick study of the beers on offer my brother opted to have Stralauer blonde while I went for NB IPA, both these beers were served in tip top condition, we just kicked back and chilled out and took in the great brewpub we were in . My IPA was outstanding,surprisingly light and hoppy with a great taste bursting with flavour, very easy to drink and a beer style I really enjoyed, my twin brother Stephen also gave the thumbs up to his beer. After we finished our first beer we both decided to have one more and we both went for sommenal(l)e(e) pale ale and we were again served a perfect beer,on a hot day this was a totally refreshing beer and again very easy to drink. We moved on after our delicious beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Strassenbrau is really easy to locate on Neue Bahnhofstraße in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. A great brewpub and well worth checking out.

Popped in for a drink as staying around the corner in an airbnb as it looked the most atmospheric. It Was! Very knowledgeable and lovely Bar maid. Superb drinks. Great ambience. Even allows you to order food in from a local restaurant so you can...have a snack or full meal too. We stayed for two and came back for another later!

I am a big fan of an occasional beer and this is a great location to enjoy an occasional beer with friends. With beers on tap of their very own beers a flight is always a great choice to get a good idea of...their flavor variety.
