Syrtaki - Berlin

When my grandmothers were still in the karlshorst, I was often in this (East)Berliner place. after the death of one and the movement of the others were also visited more than sparingly. what was closer than going after years and looking hungry, I went on looking for a gastronomic facility for thirst and starving. I was near the train station in the syrtaki, a Greek restaurant. Location approach: the restaurant is located on the street, a side street of the treskowalle, the karlshorster main street. the railway station karlshorst with S-Bahn and regional railway connection is only a few minutes away. as well as points of different tram and bus lines. guests with pkw will find parking in the street and wildensteiner street and on the in-house parking behind the restaurant. stars: the restaurant ambiente: the restaurant is located in the ground of a neubau neubau neubau neubau on the former railway area behind the old karlshorster main station. there is a large dining room and in summer there is a terrace. before the restaurant they are greeted by replikes by divine gods and solemnly. same encounters in the interior of the house, with art flowers still a cheerful color. you do not have to give up subtle musical Greek underpainting. the seat consists partly of normal tables and chairs, partly (in the middle of the room) of the two that I have so unloved that are not left behind, are attracted and have the disadvantage that the front person must always stand up when the rear person has to leave. since the menu is available in the internet, I will quote a page-long extract from the map at this location. I would like to highlight the Greek flat beer of the brand “Mythos” (2,70 €uro). star: service: service is flash, attentive, friendly, beautiful and well positioned. each service service served every table. wait did not take. stars: eating: in view of the huge menu it was not so easy to decide among the many directed. my choice finally fell to the Thessaloniki cellar for 11,90 €uro (gyros, souvlaki, zaziki, pommes, salat – serial number 68 of the card). the food was freshly prepared. the section was sufficiently large. the circle was a little dry, but souvlaki was excellent grilled. the pommes went, the salate and the zaziki were in order. I would have liked to dispense with the rich garnishment with raw wool. to welcome and farewell gave another ouzo to the house. stars: Conclusion: a good restaurant. but I don't break into superfouling cheer. so really mine wasn't eating. but that's what everyone is trying best. there are 3 stars of me for “okay”.

We are just here and the atmosphere is great, although it still rains. the food was very delicious. I was here for the first time.

Was there last Saturday. come from nürnberg and always try to connect a visit to berlin with a visit in the restaurant. I think it's wonderful. service and friendliness are very good and eating tastes great. was surprised that there had been a change of ownership lately, but the kitchen is as good as before.
