TAK KEE - Berlin

We came here based on a strong recommendation from locals. Apparently the restaurant has been featured in the Hong Kong press as the only location in Berlin to find authenticCantonese food. We enjoyed the meal, the best dish was actually the simplist...fried noodles with veggie. It's a pity they don't have an English menu and/or a menu with picture. Some strange gaps on the menu...no Cantonese duck for example. The staff were cold/grumpy.

If you're looking for a down-to-earth, no frills restaurant, serving homely Chinese food, look no further. The 京都骨, 辣子鸡, 麻婆豆腐, 蒜蓉菜心, even the white jasmine rice, satisfied all our longings for a soul-warming meal on a cold night. Around €60 with 3 Asahi beers for a taste of home was well worth it! The evidence in the photo says it all

I have been searching for hairy crabs in Belgium and The Netherlands but to no avail. I finally got the chance to eat them here. So yummy. You can also taste the most authentic Hong Kong style food and drinks here. What a wonderful evening!

Me and my girlfriend searched Tripadvisor for a take away restaurant in Charlottenburg, which had opening hours after 23:00. Our search ended up with Tak Kee.We lived in Knesebeckstrasse, and it was a pretty long walk. You better grab a bus of something, hopping off at Adenauerplatz. The place looks nice, and it could be romantic to sit outside the restaurant to dine.The menu is offered only in german, which is not very tourist friendly. But the woman working there was really helpful, and wanted to help us find what we wanted.We ordered three dishes, and they were all pretty tasty. I am a sucker for deep fried calamari, but these were really disappointing. Do not waste your money on it! I recommend the salty lamb chops.WARNING: The restaurant does not accept credit card. Only cash...

This is a family run restaurant with a husband and wife team and what a team they make. Exceptionally tasty HK specialties. Fantastic fried calamari, fantastic crispy fish, succulent meat dishes with great spices. Highly recommended.
