I ordered "marinated tuna" sushi rolls, expecting - as one might do in a sushi restaurant - to have fresh fish. But no, the tuna came completely disguised in some kind of spicy mush, surrounded by stale rice. I'm not even sure there was any tuna in there. It was impossible to taste any, anyway...When I complained to the waitress, she was extremely rude and abrupt, saying "it's what you ordered" even though it was not described as such in the menu. I couldn't eat it, made it clear that I was not happy, but they charged me anyway. Terrible service.Avoid!
Restaurant is "Japanese" but they are not, and it clearly shows in their food and attitude. Server who took our order was unfriendly. Tasteless food was slow to come out and was sitting on the counter waiting to be served before being sent to another table before ending up at ours. If your only criteria for food is hot, then you'll be fine here. The "curry" is more like meat boiling in coconut milk with a bit of heat and spice added in. Reminds me of Thai flavors, not Japanese at all. Udon is bland, and portion size was off. Was more like soup garnished with a few noodles and pieces of meat. Difficult to get another server's attention to ask for bill as she just ignored us several times before we waived and said in a much louder voice to get the bill. Original server had walked off. Expensive for what you get. Would go elsewhere as there are so many other options at this train station.
We just came for lunch in this place, we order Ocha , the waiter didn't knew, the Sushi chef didn't understand what is Ocha, so ok fine, they are not Japanese then so we are not expecting a good Japanese sushi then. So we just order all sushi from the menu, the taste is flat, the rice quality is not so good for Sushi.the waiter not so friendly, all look fake n cheap, they should just cooked Chinese food than messing with Japanese food.
I suggest not to ordering the moving dishes. There were definitely expensive and looked not fresh! It looked like those food have been put for hours! It was a bit understaff as well. Otherwise, everything was still acceptable but I recommend moving dishes shouldn't be overpriced really. It's a tourist trap if you don't know how to order it correctly then you have to pay a lot for food!
We wanted something not so heavy and the carrousel selection got us started...We then realized we could order off of a menu which we did. The sashimi and nigiri selections were excellent. We realized the men behind the counter spoke no English or German but the manager does so service was excellent after that point.
