Zum Schusterjungen - Berlin

A German friend invited me to dinner in a schusterjungen and said it was one of the best places in berlin for truly authentic German cuisine. he was right! the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the environment was welcoming. there are both inside and outside seats, and according to the number of guests, it is clear that this is a favorit with tourist and local alike.

Title says everything. has been feeling a bar for many years, now a restaurant, but with very neighboring bar. the front rooms are bar and 3 tables, the back room is darker, more real it area with a beautiful bistro feeling. perhaps 8 tables. not. sure that it deserves a recommendation, but if they are in the region prenzlauer, they try it.

The place to go to berlin for authentic German food! I wanted to visit this restaurant after it was in an episode of anthony bourdain: parts unknown. forward called to secure a booking and the personal was very helpful and accommodating. large service of all and. our waiter was incredibly helpful to advise us on our order based on the generous portion sizes! we ordered 3 nets as we wanted to try out numerous items on the menu, and that was all we hoped. authentic German food in an authentic German restaurant. filled with locals and it was easy to see why

If they are looking for traditional tariff, this is a safe bet. the bee, the wee and the generous portions of food are good and cheap.

We discovered this place on our first day in Berlin, and never had dinner anywhere else (apart from at the end when it had to close at 6pm because of Covid). The menu offers a great choice (even with vegetarian options) and they serve great...draught beer. Very friendly and accommodating staff at all times. Great atmosphere, too.
