If you are looking for a beautiful cappuccino with a oats or other diet option, what happens when you are in a group, you will get a Glum NO. Make sure you have money to not end up in trouble. Hope will change. There is plenty of room to improve.
Very pleasant, put back cafe in the center of Bern with beautiful jazz playing in the background. I enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup. My husband had the Croque Monsieur. Efficient service. Very opulent ladies’ loo!
On the main shopping street in Bern, this small irrigation hole is a great place for a stop to have a drink and recharge the batteries. The service is rustic, but the ambience with especially locals is very beautiful. Terrace in summer.
Walking around Berne to find somewhere for a pit stop and refreshment we found many other places very full and busy. This place is tucked away on a cobbled street in the heart of old town Bern. It isn't that big and has tables both inside and outside. The menu appears a little limited from what I saw and we opted for coffee and cakes. We purchased a coffee each and a blueberry muffin each from the display on the counter. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and fairly welcoming but I found it very expensive. Our order cost CHF18.20 which is expensive for what we had. However, the coffee was nice and the muffin tasty. I think this is in the norm of prices in Bern and is cheaper than Starbucks! All in all a nice place to stop and have a break.
