Super great staff... (One guy) super good food. Big menu. Good drink prices. Kinda hard to find. Great food prices... Str parking. Def go if you are close...
The food is cheap top notch. Service is good. Don't expect locals to give you the time of day.
5 star across the board. All roads don't lead to Coes but it's so good you'll find your way there. Went there after a golf trip to Peosta on a Sunday and all my mates where very impressed. No draft beer but they had an impressive selection. One of the few bars anymore that has Old Style..both light and regular Krausened goodness. A lady was tending bar (3/4 full) and was able to take care of them, our drinks, our food orders, AND cook the food as well. That was an impressive case of juggling. And the food..wide variety of options and obvious that inflation has not hit this establishment. I had a a Patty Melt, an order of onion rings, an order of fried mushrooms, and 3 beers and a mixed drink...$29..almost criminal. And the mixed drink came in a pint glass..supersize me! Fine dining?? Dont' be silly. But they do have $19 steaks which I am going to try and go back for.
Yum! Had to go back to Coe's again last night to try out other menu items. If you like some kick, try the zipper burger!
