There aren't many options nearby for a quick, quality lunch. From left to right: (2nd) the Corned Beef with Swiss and Sauerkraut was impressive; (3rd) the Grilled Chicken Breast paired with fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, and roasted red peppers was good as well. But the standout was the Filet Mignon topped with caramelized onions and horseradish sauce, which tasted even better than it looked!

My office frequently orders from Monterey Fine Foods, and we absolutely love their food. They offer an impressive selection, and everyone in my office enjoys what we get. I highly recommend them for all your takeout and catering needs. Working with Andres and Steve while placing orders is a pleasure; they make the process easy and enjoyable.

The restaurant just isn't what it used to be; the charm and quality of the old Monterey Gourmet have diminished. Did we enjoy a reasonable lunch? Yes, but it certainly wasn't anything memorable. We ordered in advance, not realizing the place was completely empty when we arrived. Despite it being a slow day, our order was still incorrect. The egg salad was bland, the Sloppy Joe didn't resemble a true Sloppy Joe (it wasn't a double-decker sandwich), the potato salad lacked flavor, and I found the portion sizes disappointing. While the food was acceptable, it wasn't remarkable by any means. I was taken aback by how bare the place felt. The prepared items in the deli cases looked fairly appetizing, but there wasn't much variety. In short, while I wouldn't be upset to dine here again, I wouldn't make a special effort to return either.

We had MFF cater our family party this past weekend and we will only use them from now on. The food was DELICIOUS and beautifully presented. We were so impressed at how easy the whole process was from communicating (Andres was always so responsive) to having the food delivered and serving it. We had 22 people. We ordered a charcuterie board, Mediterranean salad, tabbouleh salad and room temp food that consisted of filet mignon, fried chicken and tequila lime shrimp with their sides. We ordered room temp food so we wouldn?t have to worry about heating anything. We love this place and can?t wait to use them again!

This is an exceptionally well run operation with the owner Steve and head of catering Andres. We celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday and got the catering done. Steve delivered at our hotel and perfectly set up. We had numerous calls with Andres on menu selection and he was patient and very professional. Finally, the food was incredible and our guests kept asking about the catering and how well planned the menu was. Not only is the quality amazing, you are dealing with very good people. Highly recommended.
