Thistle Do Nicely - Berwick-Upon-Tweed

I discovered this charming little café right on the street. The staff were incredibly inviting, friendly, and accommodating. The food was excellent; five of us enjoyed a mix of breakfast items and also indulged in some delicious pastries. The only downside was that we ran out of time to visit again before our holiday ended! As someone who typically prefers chain cafés, I love this place even more. It’s full of charm and character, making our days truly unforgettable.

I had a lovely lunch today while visiting with my family. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and the food received high praise. The service was quick, and our two children were very happy here. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful place! The staff was very accommodating, even with my noisy children, which is a plus. I've struggled to find good breakfast spots, but this is definitely the place to be!

What do you want me to say? just perfect in every sight. the personal was amazing....so attentive, friendly and polite. the food was cooked to order, excellent quality ingredients, perfectly boiled, cake hot. 2 x breakfast with toast and a hot drink for a tenner! amazing also. we will see each other soon and thank them. also very covid safe and very clean.
