D'Gusto Thai Restaurant - Berwick

Well going on reviews, my expectations were high, but to my disappointment they apparently had a new waitress on and it all took to long.To long to order, we ate our meals in shifts as they weren't all brought out together! When the food did arrive though, it was fantastic!

Fresh, tasty, large portions, great value for money both for food and drinks. Service staff were working hard to keep up with the needs of a large mid week clientele. Elwood has a trendy village atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing night out

D'Gusto Thai must be one of the best Thai restaurants in Melbourne. Reasonably priced and fantastic food! Highly recommend the red curry. Friendly staff and great service.

The best food in Elwood. I have lived here all my life and the area has changed a lot. D'Gusto Thai really provide good quality fresh food and very competitive Prices. If there is a delay, then that was a rare occasion although it is popular for dine in and take away. Service always comes with a smile and staff are very attentive. Don't expect any Thai Restaurant to ask you if you want more drinks as that is not their custom. Do feel free to request yourself and they are only too happy to oblige. The "Fast Food" rating is misleading as they do focus on service delivery but don't undercook any of their food or re--heat frozen food.

This is a local restaurant and BYO which has much appeal. It is the restaurant I go to for a quickish and casual meal, can bring a bottle of wine and have a cheap night out. Service has improved over the last year and the food is generally quite good (some not great which is why I have given it 3 stars) but its probably a 3 1/5 star restaurant. The staff are very helpful. The ambiance is pleasant but fairly basic as you would expect from a good local restaurant.
