It is quit surprising to see a French family operating such a refined and tasty Indian restaurent. Here it is the case and if you are fascinated by Indian cuisine, or longing your previous Indian tours this is the place to be in Besançon. Sauces are exquisite, dal perfect, stews well prepared.
We enjoyed our meal with a chicken tandoori starter and cheese naan (definitely get the naan). My husband had mild mango chicken and I had medium spiced lamb masala. Very nice. We’d recommend them.
Great diner and very kind waiter An hostess. We had diner twice and special de lassi was very good! They had also a salted lassi
If you like traditional Indian cuisine, I suggest you go with your eyes closed. The menu is varied and the presentation of the dishes is very pleasant. The staff listens and warms. A little more, very appreciable, it is possible to take the rest of its plate to avoid any waste! Small dish for the table where we were, next to the entrance door with the passage of customers who recover their orders, not very pleasant to dine with a flow of air and someone standing waiting next to our table. The restaurant is small does not offer much room, it would be fair to find another arrangement (paravent? Remove the first table? To give a little more privacy on our plate.
