Captain D's - Bessemer

I dined at this location last night (using the drive-thru) and had a fantastic experience. The service was quick and the food was delicious. However, I really want to highlight the lady in the drive-thru named Shay. Her customer service skills were exceptional. She was incredibly polite and kind, from the moment she took our order to when she handed it to us. In an era where it seems the fast food industry is facing challenges, it was a breath of fresh air to be served by someone as lovely as her. Great job, Captain D's!

I absolutely love this specific Captain D's in Bessemer! We placed our order through Door Dash, and I had spoken with the manager beforehand. Our food arrived hot and incredibly delicious.

My experience at this restaurant this week was very disappointing. I ordered two battered fish meals, each consisting of four pieces, but when I got home and opened the order, I found two country-style fish meals instead. I called the restaurant to address the mix-up, and the person who answered was quite indifferent about the situation. He informed me that they didn't have any battered fish available, but nobody mentioned that when I placed my order. It was clear that he didn't care much about my concern, and it’s frustrating considering how high gas prices are right now. I shouldn’t have to waste money driving back and forth for an order that should have been correct in the first place.

Spent $40 on food for my m the family and it was horrible. I ordered 2 meals, 1 batter dipped fish meal and 1 fish and chicken along with other foods. Neither fish meal was pleasing. The fish wasn't batter dipped and it was cold. Behind spending that kindof money, you should get what you pay for and it be freshly cooked. Will definitely not be going back to this location
